Introducing A Swimwear Made Of Recycled Plastic Materials

When women order bikini online, not many opt for a one-piece swimwear because of the fit which is essential. This mindset will eventually be shaken up by a partner from Vancouver. They decided that it is time for the swimwear market to experience the skintight one-piece that offers chic design and at the same time eco-friendly.

Londre Bodywear is a company founded by two friends, Hannah Todd and Ainsley Rose. They are both into fashion, travel and supporting sustainability. Their swimwear line focuses on the use of a stretchy compression fabric that is made out mainly of plastic water bottles that have been castoff. The idea came to them after they visited Mexico. While on the trip, they have discussed that there is not much market for one-piece swimwear that is flattering to women no matter the figure.

Todd said that they have observed that majority of the one-piece on the market have very high cuts or designed for competitive swimming while others have a very matronly design. This is when she and her friend decided that it is time to have something on the middle ground which has been missing in the market for a long time.

They spent months conducting research as well as product development before they were able to narrow it down to two styles that will be suitable either land or in sea. The first design of one-piece is sexy but still offers a lot of coverage which they call Minimalist while the other one have plunging V-neck and very long straps called Multiway (because it can be worn in a number of ways).

Both designs are being made in Vancouver and can be purchased in either black or white. According to Rose, they have received a number of positive feedbacks saying that the design is flattering than most one-pieces in the market.

The recycled fabric used is produced by a textile facility in Taiwan. They have the highest certification for being eco-friendly. The fabric undergoes treatment with ChitoSante which is a natural agent derived from shells of shrimps and crabs. With the number of options women have when they order bikini online, it is good to know they have two more options to choose from.
