A new development is currently underway in North Pattaya, which is good news for those looking for a design hotel in Pattaya, especially since this new development comes from the well-known Centara Hotels & Resorts Group.
The hospitality group recently started development on its second hotel under the Cosi brand, which is notable, since the announcement for this project came a mere two months after the group launched the brand with the opening of the first Cosi hotel in Koh Samui. This new project, dubbed the Cosi Pattaya Naklua Beach, is a design hotel in Pattaya located a convenient walk away from the beach, and a mere five-minutes of driving from Central Festival Pattaya.
The new hotel will include the usual high-quality amenities, such as a swimming pool, an in-hotel laundromat, and, for those looking to relax, a social hangout hub that also doubles as a digital playspace, open for 24 hours a day. The hub has, among other features, a cafe for guests that offers free food, operating under a “What You See Is What You Get” model, as well as act as a place to spend their daily credits, which guests will receive throughout their stay at the hotel.
Centara Hotels & Resorts released a statement via a company spokesperson, who said that developing the Cosi brand is a major part of Centara’s five-year development plans for expansion, so much so, that within that five-year plan, Centara is expecting to add around 40 Cosi hotels to the brand and its portfolio, to be developed in strategically chosen resort and city locations throughout Thailand and Asia.
Centara’sCosi brand, according to them, is aimed towards the more modern and connected lifestyle that the travel market is looking for, whilst remaining affordable for the less financially strong customers. That means that the new Cosi design hotel in Pattaya, won’t be as demanding for budgets, whilst holding up to the standard set up by its parent company.
If the schedule for construction holds, the new hotel should be up and running sometime in 2019, though there have been no specifics on opening.
