VNAT Reviewing 3 To 5 Star Hotels In Saigon

Nguyen Ngoc Thien, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism had ordered VNAT and his subordinate departments in cities and provinces to examine thoroughly the management and service quality of three-star, four-star, and five-star hotels. Especially true for four- and five-star hotels, they mainly sustain a high standard of service quality and facility, while the rest had failed to sustain appropriate standards. It’s actually why the government of Vietnam need to carefully review 3, 4 and 5 star hotels in Saigon to entice thousands of visitors to come to the country.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism (MCST) hadordered its examinersas well as the Vietnam Hotel Association to furnish directionsto the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourismand VNAT on organizing reviews for local accommodation, specifically with three to five-star hotels. For those who omitted to sustain quality standards will have their standing cancelled. It may be good to impose the standards to determine which 5 star hotels in Saigon can provide highquality service.

MCST claims tourist accommodation has quickly developed in quality and quantity over time. From 2010 to 2015, many hotels and luxury accommodation from three- to five-stars have doubled and strengthened the attractiveness and competitiveness of Vietnam.

The cancellation of star certification for hotels that have not sustained high standards will aim to improve the overall quality of service in hotels, according to VNAT.Hotels, airlines and airports should provide quality service to connect Vietnam to other global tourism destinations. According to VNAT as of May, Vietnam now had 463 three-star, 229 four star, and 101 five-star hotels. It’s nice to know that 5 star hotels in Saigon can accommodate good quality service to foreign and local guests.

The investments from outstanding companies such as Tuan Chau, BIM, FLC, Muong Thanh, SunGroup, andVinGroup have aided in the creation of a modern tourism infrastructure all throughout Vietnam.  International tourists to the countrylast August were approximately around 899,738, an increase of 6.3% against July and up to 34.4% annually.  Overall international arrivals in the first eight months were around 6.4-million, a 25.4% higher annually, and about 43.1-million local tourists in all.
