Wedding Fiasco After Hired Marquee Company Did Not Show

The wedding ceremony is the most important event in the life of a couple and it is a trend these days to have a marquee hire in Sydney for those planning an outdoor venue. This special occasion has turned out to be a nightmare for one couple in Conwy due to the marquee company they hired.

The wedding has a Western theme and the couple devoted two years in preparation for the big day. The bride was crying tears as they panic trying to search for a replacement marquee in order to avoid ruining their wedding day.

Emily Kelly is the 25 year old bride and said that she booked a marquee from company based in Menai Bridge called Anglesey Marquees. The payment was already confirmed October of last year.

With less than a day before the wedding, hopes ran out for the couple as the booked marquee failed to show up. Mrs. Kelly decided to cancel the transaction and find another contractor that could provide them a marquee.

The company has since then offered an apology to the couple and they said that the experience is something unfortunate they had to experience in order for the company to grow.

Mrs. Kelly is a care assistant and during the booking process she had indicated that the Marquee should be delivered three days prior to the wedding in order for them to have time to arrange the decorations and everything.

She said that the marquee was supposed to arrive on a Wednesday but it did not happen and the company is not even answering her calls and emails. When they did reply, they said that they will deliver the marquee the following day at six in the morning. Family and friends of the couple gathered early the next morning as they are expecting the marquee is ready to be decorated but once again the company was a no show.

It was Thursday afternoon when the company informed them that the marquee they are supposed to rent has been stolen. Mrs. Kelly together with Zak, her husband, talked to the manager of Anglesey Marquees Jason Jones. He promised to find a replacement and bring it over by tea time but again they failed to show. In the end the couple had to cancel their transaction and find another company that can deliver the marquee right away. It is a lesson for marquee rent companies in the world as well as marquee hire in Sydney that they should be professional when it comes to business transactions.
