YAANA Ventures, a corporate networking and branding agency in Thailand, is now inviting companies in the region to join the 2nd YAANA Corporate Challenge, which they will be hosting in Chiang Mai, Thailand, from the 21st-23rd September 2018.
The corporate networking event, lasting 2 days and 3 nights, is designed for business entities, and individuals who are interested in environmental best practices. During the day, the event will have participants riding bikes to see the best of what Northern Thailand has to offer. The proceeds from participating will be used to fund Operation Smile Thailand, which pays for operations to aid Thai children suffering from debilitating deformities.
At night, Chiang Mai will be hosting relaxing activities, like cocktail parties and dinners. Friday’s evening dinner will even be featuring a guest speaker, whilst the closing dinner, held on Sunday, will be hosted in one of Chiang Mai’s iconic destinations.
The annual event was conceptualized by responsible tourism investor, corporate networking and branding agency in Thailand, YAANA Ventures, with Khiri Travel and Grasshopper Adventures, handling logistics. YAANA will be in charge of handling the sign-up process and the fundraising aspect.
CFRO Mark Remijan, YAANA Ventures, says that this event isn’t a cycle race; it’s a corporate networking and fundraising event built around the ideas of sustainability and conservation, as well as health, Thai tourism and raising proceeds that’ll help improve the lives of young people across Thailand.
The bike ride has two options: 140kms and 100kms over the span of two days, which come with full back up support van, as well as plenty of food and refreshments along the route.
Last year, the first YAANA Corporate Challenge managed to raise US$25,000 for Operation Smile. For this year, YAANA ventures is aiming to raise about US$40,000. These funds will be used to pay for the operations, aftercare and therapy for Thai children suffering from facial deformities. Companies interested in the event can sign up teams of one to three riders, with the option of three sponsorship packages: Platinum (3 riders for Bt175,000/US$5,600), Gold (2 riders for Bt125,000/US$4,000) and Silver (lone rider at Bt75,000/US$2,400).
These packages will include bikes with complimentary technical support, accommodations, corporate branding, paraphernalia, meals and even publicity.
YAANA Ventures CEO Willem Niejmeijer, says that the event is open by people from any industry, any company that’s as passionate about people and the planet as well as their profits, ready to enjoy natural scenery at day, and exchange ideas for sustainability in the evening.
